Dear Lonnie, Tim, George, and Family Members,
We are all saddened to learn of Tokiko's passing. Our sincere sympathies are extended to all of you.
Your mother was special as you all know. My mother (Norma Jean) often took me to Aunt Martha's when I was 5 or 6 years old, and a couple of times, left me there in the summer for a week or two at a time.
Tokiko was very kind to me as a relative and babysitter. She taught me Japanese letters and numbers, played with me, and told me about her life before coming here, and I value those early memories.
Your mother and father loved you unconditionally, and I hope you are able to rejoice in the memories of all the good times Tokiko and George gave you.
Godspeed as you all go forward. I hope we all see one another in the near future.
