Sorry to hear about Bill. I last saw him in the 60s at the Nicholson family farm. My mother Ruth was Idora's sister. I live in Florida now. My brother Herb Peters sent me this obituary in my e-mail. The Nicholson family were a very wonderful group. I spent one summer with them when Bill was only 5 or 6 years old and I was 13 or 14 yrs old. I pray for your peace and comfort at this time of your loss.

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a Muskie to the core! I'll always remember him as that solid supporter of players to and from every game as the driver. Always had a positive impact and kind word to say. He will be missed.

Bill was way more than a bus driver. He did so many things at East Muskingum schools, he also donated so much of his time over the years, he mowed the grounds, he watched over the weekend detention classes, he watched over the kids that worked during the summers, he taught drivers education classes, and he taught many of the drivers over the years to drive the big yellow buses, including me. Full of love and friendship and a shoulder to cry on, or he would lend an ear to listen. What a big pair of shoes to fill with his passing, you will be missed Bill.

It was an blessing know him for about 22 years. First time I met him he was my nephews "big brother" and for the last 16 he's been my coworker and my friend. I'm sending prayers to his family and to his dog that he loved so much. May The Lord give you strength each day.
