Sally was my cousin but we were more like sisters and lived together for years before I left for college. We spend summers riding horses, working on the farm . I helped her grow her softball throwing arm muscles by catching the balls she threw at me. They hurt a lot. She had a great sense of humor that I'm largely responsible for. We had so much fun together. And even through the years and distance of living apart as we lived our lives in different states., we would always pick up where we left off as if no time had passed. I find myself thinking of her today and of Aunt Shirley. I loved them very much.

I am thinking of my friend, Sally, today. She would have been 39. I know I am not the only one that remembers many fun birthdays in college that we celebrated together. Rest in peace, my friend, and know that you are loved.

I am shocked and saddened to hear this. I first met Sally in elementary school and graduated high school with her. She always had a big smile on her face and a kind word to say to anyone that she met. She will be missed by many. Prayers to her family.

Sally was such an upbeat person that always put a smile on your face. I was fortunate enough to play softball with Sally at Marietta College. She had such an infectious laugh that made her so fun to be around! You all have my heartfelt condolences and prayers during this very difficult time!

Oh My! Where to start....So many memories of this person and our family. I can hardly think of Sally without thinking of the Ripley High softball field-- Dave marking the field, Shirley in the concession stand, and Sally on the mound. Found memories of the Senior League and their fight to get from the bottom to the top, of course with Sally's help. We are so glad we had the opportunity to have had all of you in our life and to share Sally's bright smile. God bless you David and Shirley. You are in our hearts today and always.
