Patricia A. MacLaine

Patricia A. MacLaine, 83 formerly of Zanesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Barrett Haven Care Center in St. Charles MI.

Patricia was born in Zanesville on February 8, 1933 the daughter of Madolyn (Collin) McCormick.  She worked for over 25 years as a secretary for the Philo High School and previous to that she worked for the Times Recorder in Zanesville, after her retirement she volunteered for Good Samaritan Hospital for over 16 years.  She was 1951 graduate of Lash High School, a member of the Lady Elks, member of the Ya-Ya Girls, member of the Times Recorder Retirees, and a member of the Market Street Baptist Church and most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Patricia is survived by her son Philip (Julie) MacLaine of Zanesville, her daughters Linda (Dave) Cole of St. Louis, MO and Elizabeth (Tom) Lianez of Zanesville; five grandchildren Jennifer Allen, Ian Cole, Katie Lianez, Kasey MacLaine and Ally MacLaine and her three great-grandchildren Emily, Hannah and Anthony Cole.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Philip S. MacLaine who passed away May 31, 2013; a grandson David Andrew Cole and her two sisters Edna Wilson-Pyle and Madolyn McCormick Rose.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
