Dolly was a close friend. I remember when she first came to Rolling Hills School District. Our paths crossed frequently at the various buildings. There are so many humorous incidents I remember during meetings we attended together, lounge and office conversations, kindergarten screening, etc. She gave me a necklace for Christmas one year--a necklace I really liked and would comment on every time she ever wore it. I'll miss her. Kathy and family, you have my sincere sympathy.

Cathy, Teresa and Stephanie. I can't begin to express how I feel. I apologize for not being there for all of you and to pay my respects to your mom. I just found out she has passed. You have my deepest heartfelt sympathy, my heart hurts for all of you. When I think of your mom with her genuine smile, I can't help but smile. I knew Dolly through her nurse position at Rolling Hills Schools. We talked about pets at lunch and joked about all kinds of things. She sometimes asked me to use the microscopes in my classroom to identify "specimens" collected from the heads of kids at the elementary. We joked a lot about that, too. I last saw her at the vets after having one of her pets put down. When she saw me I could see her cheer a little; she loved her animals so and she knew I understood. I cannot think of a time when I was not cheered to see her as well. You will be missed, Dolly.
