Daniel Carl Trusso

May 24, 1953 ~ May 3, 2016 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Daniel Carl “Diamond” Trusso, 63, of Cambridge passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  Dan was born on March 24th, 1953 in Jamestown, New York; the son of the late Carl Anthony Trusso and Mary E. Trusso.  He was catholic by faith.
Dan enjoyed socializing at the Moose Club and was an avid reader.  He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR, and following politics.  Dan worked in the home improvement industry and for Warden’s Salvage for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Ed Trusso, Bud Trusso, a nephew Todd Trusso, as well as his sister-in-law, Patty Warden Trusso.  He is survived by his brother, Bob (Billie Jo) Trusso, a sister, Roseann (Paul) Daugherty all of Cambridge. He will be deeply missed by his nephews Tony (Margret) Trusso, Michael Daugherty of Arizona, Sean Powers and Louis Humphrey; his nieces, Valerie (Ben) Crile of Louisiana, Tabitha Epler (Mark), and Angie (Bob) Grywalsky, and Sybrina (Will) Beadle; his sister-in-law, Pat Trusso, and his aunt Mildred Russel, of Newcomerstown; and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dan shared a home with the love of his life, Julie Willis.  He was close to Julie’s mother, Barbara Willis, and shared many great memories with her daughter, Gretchen (Brad) Brumfield, and their children Blake and Miranda, who he loved and held a special place in his heart.
 Cremation will be observed and cared for by the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.  No Services will be held.  Dan had too many friends to be mentioned, and he was loved by all who knew him.  A celebration of the life of Dan “Diamond” will be held on May 14th from 2 to 4 PM at the Faith United Methodist Church, located at 500 S. 7th Street on the corner of Jefferson Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio.  Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories in honor of Dan.
