Thomas Fredrick “Fred” Fenton Jr., 65, of Chandlersville, passed away on September 4, 2021 at Genesis Hospital after a brief illness.
Fred was born in Pontiac, MI on April 21, 1956. He is the son of the late Thomas Fredrick Fenton Sr. and Elizabeth Faye (King) Fenton. He was a graduate of John Glenn High School, he worked for the City of Zanesville for the Street Department, he was a member of the F.O.E # 302, the Teamsters Union, and the United Mine Workers Union. He served his country in the U.S. Navy but most especially he loved spending every moment he could with his grandchildren.
Fred is survived by his wife, Pam (Lutz) Fenton, whom he married August 27, 1983; his children, Misty (Jason) Hill, Amy (Justin) Thompson, Jeff Fenton; his grandchildren, Mallory Hill, Kenzie Fenton, Hannah Thompson, Carson Thompson, and T.J. Fenton.
Visitations will be 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday. Pastor Jamie Harrop will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest in the Chandlersville Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by George Selsam Post # 1058, American Legion Post # 29 and the US Navy Color Guard.
