Rusty Thomas Obituary

Rusty L. Thomas, 63 of Blue Rock, passed away at Genesis Hospital on Saturday, April 3, 2021, while surrounded by his loving family.

Rusty was born in Newark on December 19, 1957 to the late Lewis Aubrey and Ruby Regina (Lewis) Thomas. Rusty worked as a boilermaker in many area power plants. Rusty loved to go hunting and spending time outdoors, but most especially, he loved hanging out with his grandkids.

Rusty is survived by his loving wife of many years, Molly Ann (McPeck) Thomas; his children, Nicholas Thomas, Ashley (Justin) Lee, and Tasha Thomas; his grandchildren; Jace Lee, Braxton Lee, Hayden Lee, Tayla Davison, Destiny Davison, and Cody Davison; his sisters, Candy Watson, Cathie Thomas, and Regina Thomas; his brother, Chet Thomas; and many friends that will greatly miss him.

In addition to his parents, Rusty is preceded in death by his brother, Lewis “Jay” Thomas.

In keeping with Rusty’s wishes a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral home is caring for the Thomas family.
