Roger L. Rush Obituary

Roger L. Rush, 73, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at The Morrison House while under the care of Genesis Hospice, with the love of his life beside him.

Roger was a lifelong Zanesville residence where he was born on August 15, 1946. He is the son of the late James L. and Helen M. (Travis) Rush. He worked for Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo, he was a former member of the VFW and he served his country in the US Navy.

Roger is survived by the love of his life, Candy (Tyson) Thompson; her son, Ryan Thompson and his ‘little buddy’ Tanner Brookover all of Zanesville.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by Kerri Thompson and his brother, Doug Rush.

Keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Rush family.
