Robert David Fuller Jr.

Robert David “Bobby” Fuller Jr., 69 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 with his loving wife at his side, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Bobby was born in Zanesville on November 13, 1951.  He is the son of June (Allen) Fuller of Zanesville and the late Robert Fuller Sr.  He was the co-owner and superintendent of Fuller’s Fairways Golf Course. He loved farming, and worked many years for the Larry McCutcheon Farm. Bobby enjoyed singing, and sang with the Country Traveling Choir. He was recently inducted into the ZDGA Hall of Fame. Bobby was a member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church. 

He never knew a stranger and he always had a story to tell.  He was a member of the Carlwick Liars Club.  He was a perfectionist.  He loved the Lord, his Family and his Country.  He believed in hard work.  He was regarded by many as a great man.

In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his loving wife Crystal (Gatewood) Fuller, whom he married August 9, 1980; his children, Cassie (Matt) Shrigley and David (Katie) Fuller; his grandchildren, Karson and Hanna Shrigley, and Lillyanne and Blaine Fuller; his sister, Diane (Danny) Jewell; his niece and nephew, Lori (Dennis) Wilkening, and Jeremy (Cari) Jewell; his mother-in-law, Nancy Gatewood; and his sister-in-law, Victoria (Dale) Gatewood-Myers.

In addition to his father, Bobby is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marion Gatewood.

Outdoor visitations will be on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm at Fuller’s Fairways Golf Course, 4370 Clay Pike, Zanesville, OH, 43701, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am. Pastors Doug Winner and Eddie Warne will officiate the service. Bobby will be laid to rest in the Gatewood Family Cemetery. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Fuller family.
