Robert “Bob” D. Huhn, 91 of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.
Bob was born in Cumberland, Ohio on February 17, 1929. He is the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Moore) Huhn. He retired from the Ohio Ferro Alloy where he worked as an electrician / welder. After retirement he went back to work for L & H Tractor and Williams and Company, he was a lifetime area farmer and was known by his family and friends as a ‘jack of all trades’. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the US Army.
Bob is survived by his five children, Vicki (Logan) Dawson, Peggy (Jerry) Wagner, Debbie (Clayton) Dawson, Robert (Carol) Huhn Jr., and Tracy (Gary) Charton; his grandchildren, Staci (Ed) Edwards, Natalie (Aaron) Schaad, Laura (Jerry) Blackwood, Sarah Dawson (Roger Rummell), Sheri Miller, William Dawson, Joey Huhn, Kaylee Huhn, Kacie Huhn, Gary Charton II, and Spencer Charton; his great grandchildren, Tori Edwards, Ethan Edwards, Isaac (Morgan) Edwards, Brady Schaad, Jack Schaad Justin Miller, Brendan Miller, Alisyn Miller, Benson Huhn; his great-great grandson, Wade Edwards; and his siblings, Dorothy Starr, John Huhn and Dana Huhn.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Huhn who passed away in 2004; his granddaughter, Nicole Huhn and his siblings, Dale Huhn, Jesse Huhn and Ralph Huhn.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie Richards and Aretta Green for their loving and compassionate care. And a special thank you to all the family members who made it possible for Dad to remain at home.
Visitations will be 10 to 11 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland. Funeral services will be 11 am with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
