Richard L. Huhn, 91 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021 at Altercare of Cambridge, while under the care of Guernsey County Hospice.
Rich was born on October 23, 1929 on the family farm in Rich Hill Township, Ohio. He is the son of the late William Henry and Alta Hope (Fraizer) Huhn. Rich worked in the Oil Fields, in a Glass House, Essix Wire, Rittberger Meats, and on the Patton family farm. Rich was a member of Guernsey County VFW Post #2901, and he proudly served his country in the US Army.
Richard is survived by his siblings, Wendall Huhn of Cumberland, Joe Huhn of Centerburg, Mary Lou (Dana) McKean of Duncan Falls, and Carol Hamilton of New Concord; his sister in-laws, Carol Huhn, Delores Huhn, and Joan Huhn.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Luemma Huhn, who passed away on July 11, 1984; and his brothers, William Huhn, Jack Huhn, James Huhn, Ray Huhn, and George Huhn.
Visitations will be held from 11 to 1pm on June 21, 2021, at the Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland, 343 W. Main Street, Cumberland, where funeral services will be held following visitations at 1pm. Pastor Keith Taylor will officiate the service. Rich will be laid to rest next to his wife in East Union Cemetery with full military honors by Guernsey County VFW Post #2901 and the United States Army Color Guard.
