Michael Barrick II Obituary

Michael E. Barrick II, 53 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital, while under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio.

Mike was born on July 12, 1967 in Newark, to Michael E. Barrick and Joann M. Shepherd. Mike worked as an HVAC technician for Stutes Heating and Cooling for over 12 years. He was an avid fisherman, a hard worker, an amazing friend, and most especially he was a loving father.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his special friend, Shiloh Miller; his three sons, Parker, Preston, and Connor Barrick; his two daughters, Gwen Barrick and Jeanie (Josh) Barrick-Garnack; his three grand-children, Janelle, Josh Jr., and Aleigha Garnack; his brothers, Tony Barrick and Doug (Sandee) Barrick; his sisters, Kelly Thorley and Monica (Don) Nelson; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Jeremey Stutes.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Barrick family.
