Mary Wanda Mae Kofroth

Mary Wanda Mae (Phillips) Kofroth, age 83, of Cumberland, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at her residence.

Mary was born on July 2, 1940 in Akron. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Ottie (Leasure) Phillips. She dedicated her life to making sure her family was well taken care of. 

Her sense of humor and laugh will surely be missed. When it came to family, she knew what mattered the most. She always had an ear to listen, and the ability to heal hearts. In memory of a life well lived, Mom, your love will live forever.

She will be sadly missed by her sons; David (Patricia) Gould, Mark (Francia) Kofroth; her daughters Wanda Kofroth, Wenda (John) Calvert; her sister Sandra (Galen) Hoffman; sister-in-law Connie Phillips; brother-in-law Dale (Meg) Gould; step-son Bruce (Tina) Kofroth; her 11 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul D. Kofroth, who passed away on October 16, 2011; her children, Carl Gould Jr. and Robin Gould; her brother Robert Phillips Jr.; as well as her stepson David and stepdaughter Dawn.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Kofroth family.
