Margie L. Mallett, 63 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022, at her home while surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Shriver’s Hospice.
Margie was born in Cambridge on June 15, 1958. She is the daughter of Reda (McKinley) Blasenhauer and the late Jack Blasenhauer. Margie retired from the Sporting Goods section of Walmart in Cambridge after working there for 16 years. She loved owls, from watching them to collecting figurines of them. Margie loved to spend time Fishing and playing Bingo, but her favorite way to spend time was with her family.
In addition to her mother, Margie is survived by her husband, Michael D. Mallett, who she married on August 2, 2018; her children, David (Angela) Mallett, Pamela (Kenny) McConahay, Jessica (Junior Williams) Mallett, and Erica (Joe) Delaplane; her grandkids, Kendra and Kailee McConahay, Mikeal Larrison, Devin and Chloe Davis, Alycia and Harper Delaplane, Jake Mallett, Autumn Burrows, Chevelle Gunnels, and Katelyn Hickman; and her siblings, Sandra Hall, Darlene (Charles) Snyder, Barb (Tom) Mayle, Laura (Robert) Friebis, Marie McFarland, Herman (Gina) Bichard, and Michael Spencer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In keeping with Margie’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Mallett family.
