Lloyd G. Adams, 85 of Zanesville passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2021.
Lloyd was born in Zanesville on February 17, 1936. He is the son of the late Charles R. and Margaret M. (Snyder) Adams. He worked as a self-employed contractor and the owner / operator of Adams Water Well Drilling. He was an avid deer hunter and he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Faye (Severt) Adams, whom he married October 8, 1961; his three children, Junior G. (Tammy) Adams, Brenda L. Adams-Fink and Glenn A. Adams all of Zanesville; his three grandchildren, Jamie (Troy) Gussler, Tyler Fink whom he had a special bond with, and whom he was like a father to, and Lindsey Adams; his great grandson, Haiden Gussler; and his brother, Ronald Adams.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Adams, Ned Adams, David Adams, Larry Adams, Shirley Hupp, Marjorie Moyer and Jane Hupp; and his daughter-in-law Sandra E. Adams.
Visitations will be 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be 2pm on Wednesday. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the US Marine Corps Color Guard, VFW Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29.
