Linda D. Kelso, 68 of Zanesville passed away peacefully on January 13, 2022 at the Morrison House while under the care of Genesis Hospice.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Kelso Sr. who also passed away on January 13, 2022.
Linda was born on October 19, 1953 in Cambridge. She is the daughter of the late Finest Leon “Tex” and Cora Irene Ball Ivey. She retired from Lumi-Lite Candle factory. She loved spending time in the outdoors taking care of her garden, flowers and feeding the wild animals and her birds. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch spending time with her neighbors. She enjoyed cooking and going camping at Lake Lila. She was co-owner of Buckeye Auto Garage, but most especially she loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her son, Kenneth G. Kelso Jr.; her daughter, Mary Rosella (Amos) Hooks; her grandchildren, Art and Rodney Church and Kendra and Brittany Kelso; her great grandchildren, Dawson and Rohen Church; her siblings, Dan (Sherry) Ivey, Terry (Linda) Ivey, and Jessie Ivey; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Kelso; her siblings, Bill Ivey, Bobbie Ivey, Phillip “Mooch” Ivey; an infant sister, Rosemary Ivey; and two infant brothers, Michael and Richard Ivey.
Visitations will be 10-1 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland, 343 West Main Street, Cumberland. Funeral Services for Linda and Kenneth will be held at 1 pm. Minister Jim Moore will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest with her husband in the Cumberland Cemetery.
