Linda A. Gibbs

Linda A. Gibbs, 72 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Linda was born in Muskingum County on April 11, 1948.  She is the daughter of the late Forest E. and Sara (Hayes) Wilson.  She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Zanesville.  She enjoyed traveling with her family and spending time at Lake Erie.  She also enjoyed bowling and she was an avid bingo and card player.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends but most especially she adored each one of her grandchildren and never passed up a moment to spend time with them.

Linda is survived by her children, David Lee Cummings, Debra (Paul) Mumma, Tonia McDonald; her step-children, Carl Tucker and Oma Lee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Saundra (John) Shustar, Denzil Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Cora (Randy) Ross, and Dixie Sisk.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler A. Herron; her step-son, Jimmy Tucker and her sister, Lugene Johnston.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the graveside in Duncan Falls cemetery where she will be laid to rest.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Gibbs family.
