JoAnn M. Roberts

JoAnn M. Roberts, 85 of Zanesville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 16, 2023 at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville.

JoAnn was born in Zanesville on May 19, 1937.  She is the daughter of the late Gerald and Christine (Knaup) Mock.  She retired from the Longaberger Company where she worked in quality control.  She was a longtime member of the Philo United Methodist Church and attended the South Zanesville Church of the Nazarene in her later years.

JoAnn loved to go shopping with family and friends, she was a talented decorator and collector of all things Victorian, including her glassware collection. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers, and spending time with her family and friends enjoying God’s creation.

She is survived by her four children, Tara (Mike Kirkbride) Wilson, Trudy Prejean, Thomas Craig Roberts, and Maribeth (Chuck) Norris; her grandchildren, Whitney (Vicki) Weiser, Sarah (Ryan) Thompson, Lisa Prejean, Nathan (Skylar Rackley) Tracy, Seth Snyder and Caleb Snyder; her great grandchildren, Robert Thomas Weiser and Madelyn Joy Weiser; her siblings, Alice Sherbourne, Roger Mock, William “Bill” Mock, Louise (Jerry) Hambel, and Brenda (Jake) Miller.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Mock and Albert Mock; her brother-in-law Dean Sherbourne; and the father of her children, Nathan Thomas Roberts.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Shriver’s Hospice for the outstanding care that our mother received.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral Services will be 1 pm with Pastor Chuck Norris officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
