Jeffrey A. Butcher

Jeffrey A. Butcher, 57 of Zanesville, passed away at Genesis Hospital on November 13, 2015.

Jeff was born in Zanesville; the son of the late Carolyn (Quinn) and George "Fred" Butcher.  He previously worked as a truck driver and he was an avid Nascar Fan and Jeff Gordon fan, and he loved rooting on his Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Rita Butcher whom he married October 13, 1984; his daughter Joanna (Zack Fulton) Butcher of Norfolk, VA; his son Chris (Krista Kelly) Brennan of Dresden; his grandchildren, Dominick Brennan, Parker, Stone and Avery Kelly; his brothers Dean Butcher and Tom (Roseann) Butcher both of Frazeysburg and Karen (Ted) Crozier of Dresden; his sister-in-law Trish Butcher of Duncan Falls and several nieces and nephews and a great friend Keith West.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his brother Gary Butcher and his sister Lisa Birkhimer.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday with Pastor Bill Quinn officiating. A caring cremation will take place.
