In addition to her parents, Hattie is preceded in death by her husband, Dayle E. Gibson, whom she married April 21, 1946 and who passed away January 5, 2000; two sons-in-law, Ken Dewart and Kevin Harter; and her eight siblings, Meredith, Alfred, Harley, Alston Jr., Norman, Fred, Eunice Dalton, and Macel Croston.
