Harold K. Sharrock

Harold K. Sharrock, 82 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021 at Genesis Hospital.

Harold was born on October 23, 1938 in Norwich, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Kenneth W. and Dorothy F. (Darner) Sharrock.  He retired from NCR in New Concord and also worked for the Prichard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge.  He was a member of the Cambridge Moose Lodge #631, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 302 in Zanesville.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting with his boys. 

Harold is survived by his daughter, Beth Ann (Steve) Coulter; his two sons, Brian (Trish) Sharrock, and Harold (Shari) Sharrock Jr.; eight grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Jessica, Keith, Jason, Chad, Tiffany, and Isaac; his great grandchildren, Tara, Brittani, and Kevin; and his sister Theresa Wise.

In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his wife Shirley L. Sharrock, who passed away on July 13, 2012; his son Mark A. Sharrock, and his daughter-in-law, Collie.

Visitations will be 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday.  Pastor Keith Taylor will officiate the service.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Norwich Cemetery.
