Obituary
Harold “JR” L. Richardson went to heaven on April 25, 2023 following a heart attack. JR was a jack of all trades, he loved working on vehicles and doing all kinds of odd jobs. He would do anything for you. He truly had a “heart of gold”.
JR was preceded in death by his father, Harold L. Richardson Sr., and all of his grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and some close friends.
JR is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Kiggans Richardson; his four brothers, Mark Richardson, Mike Richardson, Matt (April) Richardson, Mickey (Janna) Richardson; his special nieces and nephews, Kayla (Jerry) Wheeler, Kolt (Kelsey Polen) Richardson, Jordan (Alyssa Turner) Wheeler, Jayde Wheeler, Luke (Lauren) Richardson, Ben Richardson, Marianne Richardson, Lydia Richardson, Ryan (Alisia) Boyer, Lara Richardson, Allison (Nathan) Bence, Keely (Tyler) Bond; his special and beloved dog, Ryder; as well as his very close friends.
The family wants to thank the Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center staff for their care in the Emergency Room, specifically Dr. Volt, Dr. Singh, the ICU unit, Nurse Ashley, and Chaplain Janine Marlatt.
In keeping with JR’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 to 1 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Beckett United Methodist Church’s basement, 1401 Beckett Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
