Ernest "Toby" V. Skinner

Ernest V. “Toby” Skinner, 43 of McConnelsville, passed away following a brief illness at his home on August 15, 2021.

Toby was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 17, 1978.  He is the son of Linda E. (Looney) Skinner and Delbert V. Skinner Jr, and his companion June Triplett.  Toby was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and could always be found sitting on his river deck fishing for catfish, but most especially he loved spending time with his family and being a Papaw.

In addition to his parents, Toby is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Barnett) Skinner, whom he married June 23, 1996; his three children, Jacob (Faith) Skinner, Jesse Skinner and Rebekah Annmarie Skinner; his two grandsons, Connor and Carter Skinner; his siblings, Patricia (Croy) Harris, Anthony (Lynda) Skinner and Lindsey Householder; his brother-in-law, Steven Richmond; and his four nieces, Sarah Skinner, Victoria Harris, Kyra Skinner and Vanessa Harris.

Toby is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Skinner.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls from 11 to 12 pm.  Funeral Services will be held at 12 pm with Rev. David Conley officiating.
