Ella M. Dalrymple

Ella Marie Dalrymple, 87 of Crooksville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on September 7, 2022

Ella was born in West Columbia, WV, on January 24, 1935.  She is the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna (Aumiller) Ewing.  She was a graduate of Meredith Business College, and she attended Zane State College.  She previously worked as a secretary for several different Zanesville businesses, and she also worked in the Insurance industry.  Her pastimes were reading about history, gardening and taking care of her flowers, shopping, but most especially she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Ella is survived by her five children, Barbara (Thomas) Young, Carolyn (Ralph) Desarro, Lisa (Vincent) Quinby, Lynne (Ron) Schmidt, and John Dalrymple; her several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her twin sister, Stella Watts.

In addition to her parents, Ella is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Dalrymple, who passed away July 23, 2014; her two brothers, Earl and Raymond Ewing; and her sisters, Etta Goff, Rosa Rupe, Clara Zink, Norma Cannon.

In keeping with her wishes a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Dalrymple family.
