Ella Mae (Edwards) Lovejoy

Ella Mae Lovejoy Edwards, 83 of Cambridge, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 9, 2021, while at the Embassy of Cambridge.

Ella was born in Fraizers Bottom, West Virginia, on February 19, 1938. She is the daughter of the late Charley Robert and Gladys Mae (Davis) Lovejoy. Ella was the oldest of four girls and seven boys. She worked as a nurse at various area nursing homes and Bethesda Hospital. She was a member of the Obi Community Church in Cuba, New York.

Surviving is her son: Eddie Grable,  her sister: Dorthy Clark and her brothers are Mack Lovejoy,  Ron Lovejoy, Charles Lovejoy, John Lovejoy, Wayne Lovejoy, and Frank Lovejoy.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son: James Grable and sisters: Pansy Mason and Betty Jenkins, and her brother Carl Lovejoy.

Ella loves her Lord, and loved to spread his holy word. She served as a missionary for 8 years in the World Wide Source of Light Ministries, and she loved to share her understanding of the bible in her home bible-study lessons. She’d then take those same lessons and mail them overseas to Russia, as well as to prisoners inside of the United States of America.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 10 am, at the Norwich Presbyterian Cemetery, 10230 Norwich Drive, Norwich, OH, 43767. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Lovejoy Family.
