Doris Kirkbride Obituary

Doris Mae Kirkbride, 85, passed away in the morning hours of Monday, January 13, 2020 in the presence of her family while in the care of the Beckett House of New Concord. Doris was born on May 13, 1934 to Pearl and Anna (Addlesburger) Goodwill in Lowell, Ohio. She enjoyed bowling and spending time down on the river with her husband. Her most cherished activity was spending time with her grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Debby Wood, her granddaughters, Lisa (Mark) Morris, and Kelly Hammers, her grandson, Michael Darst, and her grandchildren, Baylee Morris, Dylan Darst, Hannah Hammers, Dalton Darst, Chase Morris, Pete Kirkbride, and A.J. Kirkbride.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Kirkbride, her son, Clark Kirkbride, her parents, and her siblings.

A caring cremation will take place as she requested. A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701.
