Donald F. Milner

Donald Milner, 85, of Blue Rock passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Donald was born on November 10, 1938, the son of the late Carl F. Milner and Ellen (Treadway) Milner. He was the owner and operator of Catfish Heaven Bait and Tackle shop. When he was not busy managing his store, he loved to fish, bake, and take care of his garden. Donald also attended the Gaysport United Methodist Church.

Donald is survived by his two children, Scott Milner and Sheila Daily; his grandchildren, Zach Milner, Colby Ayres, Lexi Milner, Jessica Shook, Jody Shook, and Josie Bui; his great-grandchildren, Brennan Seifert, Kaiden Shook, Jessiah Bui, and Deklin Bui; his sister, Donna (Dave) Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois M. Milner, who passed away on October 26, 2022; and his brother, Sonny Milner.

Visitations will be held 1:30 to 2:30 Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at 2:30 pm. Pastor Lisa Jenkins will officiate the service.
