Daniel D. Jewell Obituary

Daniel D. Jewell, 49 of Zanesville, passed away unexpectally following a breif illness at his home on November 5, 2022.

 

Daniel was born in Zanesville on July 31, 1973.  He is the son of David Jewell of Zanesville and the late Nora (Alexander) Besser.

 

Daniel was a talented mechanic who could work on anything, and also an avid video game player.  He loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, Paityn.

 

Daniel is survived by his wife of 28 years, Trish (Harper) Jewell, whom he married December 31, 1993; his son, Andrew Jewell; his daugther, Ashley (Buddy Paynter) Jewell; his granddaughter, Paityn Jewell; his sisters, Virginia (Gary) Wheeler, Christy (Chris) Kirkbride; his mother-in-law, Barbara Harper, his sister-in-law, Serina (John Buttler) Wilson; his nephew, Dalton Wilson; and his extended family and friends.

 

In addition to his mother, Daniel is preceded in death by his foster mom, Linda Young and his father-in-law, Fred Harper Jr.

In keeping with his wishes a caring cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date to be announced.  The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Jewell family.
