Cora E. “Liz” Hill, 44 of Zanesville, passed away on August 6th, 2019 at Genesis Hospital. Liz was born on December 23rd, 1975 in Zanesville, Ohio to George and Jocelyn (Rhodes) Lashley. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being at the ocean.

She is survived by her mother, Jocelyn Brewer of Florida, her children, Lacey (Wesley) Jerrells of Zanesville, Blake (Ana) Hill of Zanesville, Seth (Justina) Jackson Hill of Zanesville, Chase McCandles of Zanesville, and her siblings, Randy (Erica) McCandles of Roseville, Robert “Bobby” McCandles of Zanesville, George Lashley of Zanesville, Majorie (Jeff) Lashley Stevens of Zanesville, Chris (Amy) Ditter of Brazil, and Amy Wheeler of Zanesville, her grandchildren Elizabeth & Wesley Jerrells, Armiaha & Marcus Hill, Kaylee & Haydan Hill, Aunt Ethel Mullins, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her special friends, Misty Crouthers and Roger George.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jason Hill, her son, Marcus Hill, her granddaughter, Aaliyah Hill, baby Cochran, her maternal grandparents, Juanita Pierce and Fred Rhodes, her paternal grandmother, Maxine Robinson.

Friends and family may attend calling hours at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Per the family’s wishes a cremation will follow.
