Cindy Hatcher Obituary

Cindy Hatcher, 55 of Zanesville, gained her Angel wings and returned to her heavenly home at 12:46am Saturday March 4, 2023. She passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, after a battle with a long-time illness.

Cindy was born on January 3,1968 in Weston, West Virginia. She is the daughter of the late Roger Radcliff and Judy A. (Frymier) Luck. Cindy worked as a Floral Designer for many years. She also attended the Redeeming Passions Church in Cambridge.

Cindy was a beautiful woman inside and out and had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful, loving wife and the best mother and grandmother anyone could have. She not only touched lives in her family and community but also in her travels.

She spent years helping run a youth group at Harvest Christian Fellowship, arranged all fundraising and ran concessions for Cambridge Band Boosters, and helped coach and kept score for Cambridge Summer Softball League. She also, for many years, organized, cooked food, and ran the kitchen for Antrim’s Volunteer Fire Department’s Fireman’s Festival. She was very active with her kids and her community.

Her favorite things to do were spending time with family and friends talking, playing games, and creating laughs and memories. She loved to cook and bake and touched the lives of many through fellowship. Her favorite thing to do was explore the world with her favorite cruise partner and partner in life, her loving husband Terry Hatcher. They enjoyed many years of cruising and seeing many beautiful places. They shared their final cruise together in January of 2023, to mark 20 years of cruising.

Cindy is survived by her best friend and husband of almost 35 years, Terry Hatcher, whom she married on May 7, 1988; her daughters, Nikki Radcliff, Casey Hatcher-Peyton (Wade Cavanaugh), and Melanie (JJ) Seckman; her three granddaughters, KehLeigh Hatcher, Aubrey Seckman, and Freya Seckman; her dog(companion) of 6 years Bella; her mother Judy Luck; her sister, Robin Kennedy; her brothers, Robert J. (Deb) Radcliff and Dale (Lynnie) Radcliff; her mother-in-law, Mary Archer; her father-in-law, John Hatcher; her sister-in-law, Robin Hatcher; her brother-in-law, James Hatcher; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special friends.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father Roger Radcliff; an infant brother-in-law John Joseph Hatcher; and a granddaughter Charlie Seckman.

A verse from her favorite poem written by her husband in 1985 while in the service;

“There are dreams that stay inside all day and never see the light

But if dreams come true, I swear to you I’ll dream of you tonight.”
