Charlott Rose Dady, 87 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Charlott was born on December 12, 1934 in Braxton County, West Virginia. She is the daughter of the late Ernie and Martha (Lawson) Butcher. She was a loving wife and mother to her five children, a former member of the Keeners Ridge Community Church in Duck, West Virginia. Charlott enjoyed quilting and crocheting all of the time and she was a member of the Purple Heart Women.
Charlott is survived by her children; Ronald (Pat) McQuain, Jesse McQuain, Charlie (Karen) McQuain, Wilma Fite, her step children, Dave (Mandy) Dady, Rita Dusenberry, and Debbie (Bryan) Wixtram; her daughter-in-law, Della McQuain; her sister, Edna Simoseme; her many grand-children, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Charlott is preceded in death by her first husband, Homer McQuain, who passed away January 3, 1975; her second husband, Jim Dady, who passed away December 26, 2012; her son; Lloyd McQuain; her daughter-in-law, Lori McQuain, and her son-in-law, Jim Fite; and her siblings, Charles Butcher, Jack Butcher, Roy Butcher, Mary McQuain, and Thelma Teets.
Visitations will be held 11 to 1 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, 63 West Main Street, New Concord, Ohio, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitations at 1pm. Pastor Christopher Teets will officiate the service. Charlott will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
