Cecelia M. Bonner

Cecelia M. Judy Bonner, 84 formerly of Blue Rock, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023 at her home in Heath, Ohio.  She passed surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio.

Cecelia was born in Scotts Siding, WV on August 26, 1938.  She is the daughter of the late Jacob Willis Carr and Gladys Ray.  She worked for many years as a clerk for J.C. Penny’s Company and she attended the Duncan Falls Baptist Church.

Cecelia is survived by her children, James H. (Tawny) Judy, Jeffrey L. (Deborah) Judy, Debra A. Booth, and Anita K. Judy; her six grandchildren, her eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and her special friend and caregiver, Mellisa Morgan.

Cecelia is preceded in death by her first husband, James O. Judy, who passed away March 29, 1982; her second husband of 18 years, Dwight E. Bonner who passed away September 26, 2022; her grandson, Jon Judy; her two granddaughters, Nicole Booth and Crissy Sullivan; her sister, Mary White and her brother, Herman Bradshaw.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls, Ohio 43734.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at the funeral home.  Pastor Gerry Wade will officiate the service.  She will be laid to rest beside her first husband in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Lithopolis, Ohio.
