Anne Lee Swick, 89 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2022 at her New Concord home surrounded by her loving family.
Anne was born in Lore City on December 27, 1932. She is the daughter of the late Emery and Ada (Siddle) Dearth. She retired from Cambridge State Hospital where she worked as a secretary for many years. She was a member of the Jack and Jill Mothers Club, and she was a long time member of New Concord United Methodist Church. Anne loved to spend time working with ceramics, but her favorite way to pass the time was with her family.
Anne is survived by her daughters, Suzie Heinzman, Sally (John) Appleman, Linda (Roy) Heskett, Lori (Robert) Fahner, and Julie (Mark) St. Clair; her grandchildren, Erica (Matthew) Adkins, Todd (Jamie) Heinzman, Jason (Laura) Appleman, Clint (Melissa) Appleman, Darren (Dawn) Appleman, Emily (John) Wolfe, John (Vaughn Cobb) Heskett, Daniel (Emily) Fahner, Jessica (Matt) Pyle, and Jenna (Jake) Johnston; her fifteen great-grandchildren, with two on the way; her brother, Paul (Lois) Dearth; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Swick who passed away November 2, 2005; her sister, Mary McVicker; and her brother, Robert Dearth.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, New Concord. Reverend Craig Redecker will officiate the service. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Swick family.
