Amie Bichard Obituary

Amie M. Bichard, 45 of New Concord, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 19, 2021, while under the care of her loving husband.

Amie was born on April 5, 1976 in Zanesville. She is the daughter of Pete L. McCafferty and Dorothy (Jason) Russell. She was a 1994 graduate of Sheridan High School. Amie loved spending time outdoors, barefoot. She enjoyed weeding her garden, and spending time with her horses, but she especially loved spending time with her dogs, and her family.

In addition to her parents, Amie is survived by her loving husband, Micheal S. Bichard, whom she married on July 29, 2011; her children, Johnathan D. Conn, and Kaitlyn A. Conn; her siblings, Maria (Chris) Keller, Mandy McAlpine, Brian (Ashley) McCafferty, and Lori (Larry) Mulkey; her mother-in-law, Katherine McLaughlin; her brother-in-law, Matt Bichard; her many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her fur-babies, Tyson and Hope.

Amie is preceded in death by her Grandma JoJo; her sister, Lisa K. Chafins; her furry companion, Lexi; and her horse, Flash.

In keeping with Amie’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and a celebration of her wonderful life will take place at a later date. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Bichard family.
