Jan 12, 1953 — Jul 6, 2026
Wilma M. Welker, 73 of Chandlersville, formerly of Cambridge, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 6, 2026, after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
She was born on January 12, 1953, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles David Grant and Martha Louise (Finney) Moore.
Wilma was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. She was a member of the Chandlersville Church of Christ and found great joy in worship and fellowship with her church family. Wilma enjoyed sewing, reading, and playing card games; especially Euchere.
Wilma is survived by her sister and brother, Linda (Jim) Dudley and James (Darla) Moore; 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 3 great-nieces, and 8 great-nephews; as well as many friends.
In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Edward O. Welker, who passed away in 2002 and granddaughter, Amanda Welker, who passed away in 1998.
A graveside service will be held at the Guernsey County Memory Gardens at a time to be determined in which Wilma’s ashes will be reunited with Edward.
