William Ricky Stevens

William R. Stevens, 71 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021 while at Specialty Select of Newark.

Bill was born in Zanesville on November 29, 1950. He is the son of the late William J. and Kathryn E. (Wickham) Stevens. Bill worked as a delivery driver for Northside Oxygen in Zanesville for many years. He loved to spend in his woodshop working on new projects, and Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Bill is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie J. Tyson; his children, Misty Humphry, and Shane Stevens; his step-children, Christina (Steven) Young, and Ronald (Tasha) Tyson II; and his eleven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his son, William Robert Stevens.

Visitations will be held from 11 to 1pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held following visitations at 1pm. Pastor Mike Mohler will officiate the service. Bill will be laid to rest next to his mother in Stovertown Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, American Legion Post #29, and the United States Army Honor Guard.
