William "Ricky Racer" R. Jones Jr.

William “Ricky Racer” R. Jones Jr., 62 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 28, 2025.

Rick was born on May 27, 1962, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late William Sr. and Dixie Lee (Farmer) Jones. He loved working on cars, fishing, sitting around the campfire, and listening to music. He was a Christian by faith.

Rick is survived by his children, William (Kelly) Jones III, Greg (Savannah) Jones, Wendy Jones, Stephen Jones, and Stacey Jones; his seventeen grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his siblings, Vickie Miller, Dusty Jones, and Rusty Jones; as well as his best friend, Ed Bauers.

Visitations for Rick will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will follow visitations at 1 pm. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Rick will be laid to rest beside his mom at Woodlawn Cemetery.
