William K Mckelvey

William Knox McKelvey passed away Saturday, September 7th, 2019. He was born on February 17th, 1947 in Bellaire, Ohio to Thomas Willard and Mary Augusta (Schick) McKelvey. Bill graduated from Muskingum College and Ohio University and was employed with East Muskingum Schools where he taught mathematics for 43 years. He also owned and operated a small remodeling and construction company for some time in the New Concord area. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn (Jeffrey) McKelvey, his daughters, Jessica McKelvey and Allison McKelvey, as well as his grandchildren, Orion and Aries Gore, and his sister, Jeanne (Jack) Kigerl. He is preceded in death by his parents. Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with Farus Funeral Home of New Concord caring for the arrangements and his family. Additional arrangements are pending.
