William Harrison Marshall

June 9, 1934 — October 10, 2016

William Harrison Marshall, 82, of Duncan Falls passed away peacefully at his residence on October 10, 2016.

Harrison was born on June 9, 1934 in Mount Vernon, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Francis Marshall and Flossie Taylor Pennybaker.  He worked as the owner and operator of Rocky Hill Transmission in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.  After moving to Ohio he worked for several auto dealers in the Zanesville area including, most recently, Scooters Auto Sales.  He served his country in the US Army.

Harrison is survived by his wife Annie A. (Milvae) Marshal, whom he married June 14, 1958; his son Bob Marshall of Enfield, CT; his daughter Susan Marshall of Juneau, AK; his grandchildren William Marshall and Kelly Marshall of Columbia, CT; several nieces and nephews including a special niece that was like a daughter to him, Joyce Dilley and her husband Keith; and family friend John "Jack" Surmik.  Also mourning his lost is his furry companion Lydia.

In addition to his parents, Harrison is preceded in death by his two children William Francis Marshall and Catherine Marshall and his sister Ann Baum.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Darla Revennaugh officiating.   He will be laid to rest in Decatur Methodist Church Cemetery, Little Hocking, Ohio, with full military honors.
