William L. Johnson

William L. Johnson, 72 of Frazeysburg, passed away at 3:12 pm, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. Bill was born December 29, 1940 in Licking County the son of the late Homer and Ruth (Flowers) Johnson. He retired from OK Coal Company where he worked as a truck driver. Bill is survived by his children Sherry (Chuck) Heath of Kimbolton, Timothy (Sharon) Johnson of Conesville, Cindy (Wayne) Mitchell of Adams Mills and Ruthie (Jason) Wolford of Frazeysburg; his girlfriend Cindy Buchanan of Frazeysburg; his brothers Dan (Judy) Johnson of Caldwell and Ted (Teresa) Johnson of Blue Rock; his sister Kathy Griffin of Byesville; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife Linda Johnson who passed away July 11, 1999, his brother Carl Johnson, an infant sister and his grandchildren Hope Johnson and Ashley Weissert. Visitations will be 4 to 8 pm Saturday, Sept 14, 2013 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 Sunday.
