William "Bill" Harrop

William “Bill” Joseph Harrop, 56, passed away in his home in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 15th, 2017.  He was born on July 4th, 1961 in McConnelsville, Ohio to Richard and L. Ilene (Brower) Harrop, Sr.  He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, horse racing, his motorcycles, and golfing.  He was a meat cutter at Kimbels, and worked as a manager and meat cutter at Big Bear.  He was presently employed at Vectra Visual of Columbus.     He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna, whom he married on September 8th, 1998; his sons, Jason (Cassie) Harrop of Columbus, and Justin (Andrea) Harrop of Duncan Falls, as well as his daughter, Heather (Andrew) Wilkinson.  He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Allison, Lawrence, Austin,Cienna, Chace, Camryn, Cadyn; his brothers, J. Stephen (Pat) Harrop of Blue Rock, Junior (Therese) Harrop of Duncan Falls, Jon Michael Harrop of Philo, and his sisters, Brenda (Jeff) Tittle of Philo, and Jennifer (Gary) Dials of Columbus, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls on Tuesday, July 18th from 5 to 8PM.  Services will follow on Wednesday the 19th at the Cornerstone Church of Duncan Falls at 11am.  Burial will follow at the Duncan Falls Cemetery, and Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the services.
