William C. Hamilton

William C. Hamilton, 85 of Duncan Falls, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospital on Monday, January 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born Novmber 5, 1930 in Zanesville the son of the late Otho P. and Alice Ada Hamilton. Bill was a faithful member of the Philo United Methodist Church, a 50+ year member of the Philo/Duncan Falls Lions Club where he was a recieptant of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award; a former board member of the American Cancer Society, a member of the Elks and Eagles of Zanesville and Anchor Lodge F&AM #283. Bill retired in 1984 after 36 years working for the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Brilliant and Philo, OH; he worked as an analyst and chief chemist; after his retirment he continued to work for his family business, Hamilton Antiques, which he owned with his loving wife.
Bill is survived by his son Gregory (Barcy) Hamilton of Zanesville; his three daughters, Cynthia (Mark) Lincicome of Blue Rock, Eveanne Holland of Silver Springs, FL and Tricia (Terry) DeLeonardis of Oklawaha, FL; his grandchildren Heather (John) Antonetz, Grady Hamilton, Brooke (Heath) Grimm, Dory Kinsey (Brad), Meghan Kinsey (Jordan), Sada (Jaison) Thursby, Kayadell Holland (Max), Tessa (Ander) Pierce, Teric (Joenell) DeLeonardis, Tiarra (Kyle) Truesdell, Katelin DeLeonardis, Kaleb “Levi” DeLeonardis, Tonya (Andrew) Mildenberg and Dirk Lincicome (Stacy); 19 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-granddaughters on the way.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn L. Hamilton who passed away August 17, 2013 and his son Eric Hamilton who passed away May 26, 1978.
Masonic Services will be held at 8pm Wednesday.
Visitations Tuesday, 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 1 pm, Thursday with Pastor Dee Rader and Pastor Connie Morris Quinn officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
