William Lee “Billie” Brunton, 74 of Corning, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 22, 2017. William was born on April 25, 1943 in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Rev. Harry and Ruth (Castor) Brunton and his step-mother who raised him Mary Brunton. He worked as a die maker for Superior Tool and Die for several years.
Billie is survived by his wife Sharon (Scott) Brunton whom she married February 26, 2000; his son William Lee Brunton Jr. of Texas; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and his two sisters Candy (Wes) Keller and Diane Brunton both of Corning.
In addition to his parents, Billie is preceded in death by his brother Harry W. Brunton and a sister Cathy Jo Thompson.
Visitations will be held from noon to 1 pm Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Rev. Kenny Dillion will officiate the service. A caring cremation will follow.
