William A. Baker

William “Bill” Andrew Baker, 72 passed away January 17, 2024 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room.

Bill was born April 24, 1951 in Chesterhill, Ohio. He is the son of the late Donald C. and Velma (Clester) Baker.

Bill was employed at Superior Glass in Breman, Ohio until he retired due to ill health. Bill really enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows, and fishing, but most especially he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Goldie Elaine Baker; his three children, Jerry T. Baker of Zanesville, Valerie Kay Drake of Zanesville, and Paul (Andrea) Cunningham of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Andrew (Emma Fisher) Drake, Noah (Selena Fisher) Drake, Taylor (Austin McDonald) Drake, Emily Cunningham, Ben Cunningham, and Makayla Cunningham; a one great granddaughter on the way; his three sisters, Lee (Rick) Gray, Molly (David Jones), and Katie Brewer; and one brother, Brian Baker.

Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his siblings, Kathy Wimer and Danny Baker and two great grandchildren.
