Virginia Sue McFerren passed away on Thursday March 24th while in the care of the Wheeling Hospital; she was 69 years old. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 20th, 1946 to Harley and Delena Crane. She enjoyed canning food, gardening, and camping with her family. She was proud of her treasured chickens, hens, and guinea fowl. She worked as a Nurse until she retired.
She is predeceased by her parents, her step-father, Robert Ullom, her sister, Linda Nykile, her brother, Harley Crane, and an infant grandson, Paul Richard Bradley, Jr.
Sue is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 41 years, Bruce McFerren, her daughter, Roberta “Bobbi” (Jack) McFadden, her son, Daniel H. “Herb” Bradley, her daughter, Tari (Rusty) Kenney, and her son Paul (Kendra) Bradley. She will be deeply missed by her 7 grandchildren, her sisters, Andrea Kinder, and Bonnie Lehman, her dogs Rambo, Chester, and Queenie, and Kiki, her cat, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and former co-workers.
Friends and family are welcome to attend Calling hours for Sue at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Monday, March 28th from 2 to 6pm; a celebration of life service will be held immediately thereafter at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, located at 136 Rix Mills Rd, New Concord, OH at 6:30PM Monday evening. Pastor Michael De Leon will officiate.
