Virginia Harding

Virginia M. Harding, 90 of Philo, passed away at 1:55 am Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born November 25, 1923 in Adamsville, the daughter of the late Glen L. and Effie (Stotts) Howell. She worked for the Mosaic Tile Company in Zanesville and she was a lifetime member of the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grand Mother and Great-Great Grandmother to all of her children; she enjoyed volunteering at her church and for the local schools during various activates. She enjoyed spending time, fishing and playing cards with her husband of over 50 years. Virginia is survived by her son Stephen (Brenda) Harding of Zanesville, her daughters Judith (Robert) Morrison of Chandlersville, Carolyn (John ) Skabar of Zanesville and Mary Jo Wahl of Philo; 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Russell Harding who passed away January 18, 1992; her sister Jean McNeill, one grandson and 2 great granddaughters. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. www.farufh.com
