Virginia O. Clark, 94 of Blue Rock, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on October 26, 2016, following a short illness, while at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville.
Virginia was born in Marietta, OH on November 7, 1921. She is the daughter George P. and Belva O. (Wine) Showalter. The moved to Morgan County in 1926 and she was raised in Malta, Ohio. She graduated from M&M High School in 1939. She retired from Clevite Bronze after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Great Apostolic Church of Christ on State Street in Zanesville and she also attended the Shelter House Assemble of God in Gaysport, Ohio. She was a woman of Love and Great Faith.
Virginia leaves behind three daughters and one son, John G. Clark of Blue Rock, Alice Donohue of Blue Rock, Sue (Jim) Shephard of Pennsville and Rebecca Clark of Dresden; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother, Sara Moore whom she loved very deeply and Betty Lyons and George Showalter Jr; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Howard Clark who passed away January 19, 1983 and 3 grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Saturday with Elder Brown and Pastor Joe Rowland officiating. She will be laid to rest in Union Hill Cemetery.
