Virginia F. Adams

Virginia F. Adams, 82 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Genesis Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Virginia was born on November 8, 1941 in Gallia, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Paul and Parthine (Donley) Severt. Virginia worked until seventy-two as a hairdresser for over thirty years at The Cut Above in Zanesville. She enjoyed gardening, but most importantly she loved taking care of and spending time with her family.

Virginia is survived by her three children, Junior G. (Tammy) Adams, Brenda L. Adams-Fink, and Glenn A. Adams; her three grandchildren, Jamie (Troy) Gussler, Tyler Fink, and Lindsey Adams; her great-grandchildren, Haiden Gussler and Raelee Ryan; her siblings, Kenneth Severt and Janet Bohn; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd G. Adams, whom she married on October 8, 1961, and who passed away on February 21, 2021; her daughter-in-law, Sandra E. Adams; as well as her siblings, Betty Clifton, June Clay, Paul Severt, Jeff Severt, and Pauline Severt.

Private family services for Virginia will be held and she will be laid to rest beside Lloyd in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
