Troy D. Haley

Troy D. Haley, 58 of Duncan Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.

Troy was born on April 28, 1967, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Debbie A. Haley. He was raised by his mom and his Dad, Chuck Hina. Troy dedicated his career to Shelly and Sands, where he faithfully worked for more than thirty years. Throughout his life, he was involved in many organizations, beginning with 4-H in high school, where he enjoyed showing pigs. He was also a proud member of Laborers Union Local #530 and the Operators Union #18. In the 1990s, Troy served his community as the Assistant Chief of the Roseville Fire Department, where he honorably wore badge #402.

A true outdoorsman, Troy found joy in hunting and fishing, but most especially he loved to be around family.

Troy is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Shelia Lyttle; his two sons, Levi Haley and Troy Haley Jr.; his brother, Eric Hina; his step-brother, Brian (Traci) Hina; his nephews, Cobe and Connor; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In addition to his mother, Troy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry and Sally Haley; his Paternal Grandparents, Wilbur and Dora Hina; his uncle Don Haley; and his cousin, Ryan Haley.

Visitations will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A Funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating. A caring cremation will follow.
